Watch The Chi Season 6 Episode 5 “One of Them Nights”
Previously on The Chi Season 6 Episode 4, a welcome new development in Douda’s life is complicated by Roselyn. The strains of their busy lives wear on Emmett and Kiesha. Tiff and Rob make strides with their business. Papa introduces Kenya to the crew, while Maisha questions Jemma’s dedication. The men of The Chi turn to each other for support.

On The Chi Season 6 Episode 5, it’s prom season in Chicago, and Papa asks Kenya to be his date to the prom. She says yes!
Steal From Partners
While Tiff visited Cairo about weed growth equipment, Dante arrived, but to Tiff’s dismay, her car Emmett recently purchased was broken into and stolen before her eyes!
Dante had a hunch who was responsible and took her to Douda’s chop shop. Sure enough, her car was there. Rob met her, and they confronted Douda about stealing from their partners. It seems Douda’s henchmen had been getting careless with theft production being up. Douda warned Rob & Tiff to back down and deduct the damages from their next re-up.
Emmett discovered the theft and was peeved since he is also one of Douda’s partners. And ironically, Douda helped him buy the car that was stolen. When he confronted Douda, the crime boss threatened him with a gun to his chin, warning him to back down.
Emptiness
Due to Keisha’s tardiness, early dismissals, and budget cuts at her new job… she was let go. She was distraught as this gave her life purpose amidst the chaos. When Emmett got home, she took her frustrations out on him. She vented to him that she needed therapy for her emptiness.
Keisha visited her mother and Dre and overheard their spat about Dre communicating with her ex in the late hours. Dre swore it was harmless, but Nina’s responses made Keisha discover she was just like her mother. Keisha opened up to Dre about losing her job and was recommended a therapist to work with her.
Keisha visited the shrink and unpacked the world on her shoulders, being abducted and raped, her son was a product of it, thrust into a new relationship with her high school sweetheart, caring for children not hers and out of wedlock, leveling up in life and losing her sense of purpose…
Prom King & Queen
Jemma had prom dress nightmare issues, and Tierra was there for her rescue. Tierra broke the ice with Jemma, and they bonded over girl time and dress shopping. However, displaying her dress cause an outburst from Jemma’s father, which caused strife between Marcus and Tierra.
Papa’s prom date canceled on him at the last minute, but asked him to come over afterward. Kevin was secretive about his prom date. Ultimately, it was revealed to be his high school sweetheart, Maisha. She was also voted prom queen, while Jake was voted prom king.
Jamal spoke with Bakari, warning him not to get his younger sister caught up in street mess. With a pep talk from Pastor Jackson, Bakari embraced the warning well. However, that evening, he was pulled over after driving a luxurious Lamborghini truck Douda lent him. When the teens were picked up from the police station, Jamal’s look of disappointment and Bakari’s breakdown said it all…
Papa found out why Kenya canceled. She had a toddler son and parental responsibilities.
The Feds
Alicia returned to get intel from her business partner, Bianca, who is Douda’s main girl now. She was stealthy seeking to discover who killed her brother Q.
Meanwhile, Victor and Fatima received a knock at the door, and it was FBI agents seeking to speak with Victor. (Most likely about Q, Douda’s former processor whom Victor helped dispose of his body!)
Meanwhile, Bakari was incentivized by Douda to get Shaad to hold their guns. Bakari properly motivated his mentor with much-needed cash. Keisha found the cash Emmett’s he was holding for Douda and questioned him about the illicit funds…
Leaving The CHI
Emmett took Kevin suit shopping and learned he was considering moving to Los Angeles to join a gamer sponsorship. Emmett tried to convince him not to go, but the desire was sizzling in his spirit.
After a pep talk with Maisha, Kevin was convinced to follow his dream and accepted the offer to go to LA…
