Watch The Chi Season 6 Episode 1 Premiere “New Chi City”
Previously on The Chi Season 5, Douda killed his predecessor, Q. Douda tapped Emmett to franchise the business and hired Bakari as a lieutenant. Lynae was officially adopted while Kevin sought to move out with his gamer winnings. Victor was truthful about his new love life with Fatima in pursuit of office.
On The Chi Season 6 Episode 1 Premiere, lovemaking in the morning forked depending on the couple. Emmett felt the pressure of balancing business and family. Victor was worried if he would win his race. Darnell and Jada discussed non-complacency. Jemma confronted her father her his boo calling him “Daddy” during their session.
Smokey’s Grand Opening
Douda intercepted Emmett before he arrived at his grand opening to style him in sauve gear and a new Mercedes through a broker. Emmett was reminded of the company he kept.
Victor’s campaign manager, Quincy (portrayed by Thomas Mackie), was confident he could win the race. Though he suggested a positive viral moment.
Kevin was excited to move into his first apartment… independence. However, he felt the toll of adulting- borrowing food from his parents.
Marcus confronted Tierra about her loud mouth during sex. She refuted wanting to officially meet Jemma.
Keisha was late on her first day, and speaking up pointed out that she possibly would be quitting the new job. Keisha joined Emmett at the opening, informing him she got the job. The New York franchise was doing really well, lining Emmett’s pockets. Though he hadn’t seen the location yet…
Papa had his eye on an older coworker, Kenya (portrayed by Kennedy Amaya), but Bakari thought she was out of his league. The new lady admitted to admiring him too.
Victor attended and gave a speech. Though Papa accidentally spilled a drink all over him. (Though it was being filmed as a viral moment- and it worked.)
Victorious Victor
Tracy opened up to the ladies at girls’ talk and wine. She was willing to be alone after dealing with Douda.
Kevin threw a kickback at his new place, despite not having furniture. Papa contemplated DMing his new interest.
With Emmett’s new investment bump, he brought Tiff a brand-new car via the broker. Rob didn’t like the gesture. Nor did Keisha like it. She wanted Emmett to communicate with her about major decisions.
Meanwhile, we learn that the auto broker’s supply is stolen cars.
Shaad felt the pressure of living in his woman’s home without a job. He shared his regrets about his life- feeling he was inadequate.
Marcus introduced Tierra to Jemma, and it blew up.
After Kevin’s party ended, he and Maisha had a connection and kissed!
Victor learned he had won his race for office!
Why Is Love A Compromise
Emmett and Keisha had a fight about him buying a car for his baby mama. He stormed out and visited Douda, who told informed him that he needed to keep all of his women happy, including all of his baby’s mothers. Previously, Douda shushed a subordinate who got snarky. Douda murdered the man in front of Emmett, and he was stunned!
Afterward, Douda visited Tracy and rekindled a fling despite what she wanted. In the morning, Tracy watches Eartha Kit’s infamous compromise or what video…
