Watch Special Ops: Lioness Episode 3 “Bruise Like a Fist”
Previously on Special Ops: Lioness Episode 2, Joe continues her training with Cruz. Her methods are questionable. Cruz starts to build a relationship with Aaliyah. Kate gets into a fight during her soccer game. Neal has to deliver difficult news to a patient.

On Special Ops: Lioness Episode 3, Cruz met with Aaliyah at a luxurious compound owned by one of the wealthiest petroleum conglomerates. Security was paramount, so Joe instructed Cruz to toss her burner phone and expect her car to be bugged. Cruz was also instructed to blend in with the group.
The Party
Joe met with Kaitlyn Meade, informing her of the petroleum conglomerate. Kaitlyn was concerned they were onto the CIA. Joe was confident they weren’t.
Joe ran into a colleague, Kyle (portrayed by Thad Luckinbill), asking a favor to borrow three of her team members for a hot extraction op. She reluctantly agreed to barter a favor later.
Joe’s team was positioned fifteen minutes away from her location. The compound was secluded, and the team’s only way to monitor Cruz was real-time audio via her necklace.
Aaliyah introduced Cruz to her soap opera drama friends, who hated all her friends and discovered her car crash bruising was untrue, and she suspected Cruz was beaten. They called in a doctor. Cruz convinced him her attacker was arrested, and she was getting away from him.
Cruz discovered everyone’s being watched by the high-end security team. She also learned everything was chosen for Aaliyah- including her friends.
Joe confessed to the team that she ordered the severe SERE testing. At Joe’s home, turmoil erupted with her rebellious teen daughter.
Extraction
Kyle took Tex, Tucker, and Two Cups on an extraction op to spring a prison from a transport. However, the mark’s goons already planned the same. So, they used an EMP to disable the vehicles on the road, causing the transport van to use emergency brakes and the goon vehicle to be t-boned by a truck! They extracted the mark and burned evidence, then fled.
Meanwhile, Aaliyah and friends were taken to an airfield and whisked away by private jet. Joe wondered who was the mystery male voice instructing them to leave. Joe and the team followed and listened as Cruz gave them the plane’s tail number. She was alone if she was in danger…
