On Special Ops: Lioness Episode 6, Aaliyah bonds with Cruz over a spa day. Bobby, Tex, Two Cups, Randy and Tucker confront a threat at the Safe House. Kaitlyn and Joe are scolded for the San Antonio mission in a debrief.

Warning… Spoilers below!

On Special Ops: Lioness Episode 7, in the penultimate episode, Joe, Kaitlyn, and Westfield scrambled to find the exact location of Aaliyah’s wedding in Mallorca.

Falling

Going through official channels via the Spanish government would cause them to follow NATO protocols, risking their operation. They wanted to keep the mission quiet, so Westflied called for a special ops backup team in the region. He also requested a Destroyer be parked in the nearby ocean in case he had to order a missile strike!

Suddenly, Aailyah was on the move from the Hamptons, and Joe couldn’t risk her team moving with Cruz and being exposed. So, she called Kyle for an appended favor since he burned her. She needed him to tail Cruz, and he hopped on the mission while Joe’s team met her in Langley.

Aaliyah took Cruz to New York to shop before her wedding. While en route, she explained to Cruz the true dangers of being from wealth and the heiress from oil money. She was at constant risk of being robbed, abducted, or killed. So, when she shopped, it was in total privacy.

Aaliyah and Cruz arrived at a luxury Prada store, where it was closed down for their personal shopping. Aaliyah advised Cruz not to look at the insanely high price tags but to try things on. They enjoyed popping champagne and trying clothing until Aaliyah asked Cruz about their kiss.

Aaliyah made an advance at Cruz, but they were interrupted by the store manager. Aaliyah suggested a place for them to be in private…

They went to a prestigious New York hotel, and Kyle stealthily followed and booked a room a few floors down. Aaliyah and Cruz advanced each other and transitioned to making love for hours. Kyle phoned Joe with the intel. Cruz texted Joe to meet, and she took a helicopter immediately to her asset.

The Biggest Target Since Bin Laden

Cruz was instructed to go to Kyle’s room. Upon leaving, Aaliyah asked where she was going, and Cruz claimed she was going for air to figure things out. Aaliyah’s bodyguard at the door asked if things were fine because Cruz didn’t look happy.

When Cruz went to Kyle’s room, Joe arrived shortly after. Cruz confessed that she was conflicted with her mission by falling for Aaliyah. She felt untrained to complete the task. Joe reminded her that she was a Marine who enlisted to help eliminate the largest threat since Bin Laden. Aaliyah’s father funded terrorist groups.

Canceled & Killed

Cruz was still conflicted because Aaliyah was the first person in her life that she felt alive with, and now she must betray her. Joe bluntly told Cruz that Aaliyah was using her to have last-minute fun before becoming an arranged wife and babymaker. Joe tried to convince Cruz to continue pretending for one more week then her mission was over.

Cruz returned to Aaliyah’s room to talk. However, she turned her audio transmitter off so Joe and Kyle couldn’t listen in. Joe overreacted as she and Kyle drew weapons and headed to Cruz, thinking she was exposing the mission. However, Cruz turned the transmitter back on after learning Aaliyah’s wedding won’t be in Mallorca but in Riyadh for safety reasons. And she’s leaving for Riyadh to see him the following day.

Aaliyah confessed her regret of finally experiencing love but can’t pursue it. She felt like her life was being traded rather than wedded. Cruz tried to cancel their fling and urged Aaliyah to cancel the wedding. She couldn’t, or she would be killed! Aaliyah urged Cruz to accompany her to the wedding in Riyadh. There will be 500 guests and no friends unless Cruz attended, so she accepted.

Remember Who You Are, Marine!

Cruz left and rendezvoused with Joe and Kaitlyn. Cruz was consumed with guilt for betraying her friend. Joe gave her a stern reality check and appealed to the Marine with Cruz. Thereafter, Joe and Kaitlyn wrestled with the decision to use an airstrike with an asset inside…

Civil Unrest or Nuclear WIII?

Joe arrived home, and her injured daughter was returning from the hospital. She asked Kate to forgive her for being absent the first week she was home. Realizing the dangers of her mother’s job, Kate made her promise to return home and expressed her love.

The emotional rollercoaster finally made Joe cry. She told her husband that this was her final mission and then transitioning to a desk job rather than in the field. She was truly worried about this upcoming mission.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn returned home for a dystopian discussion with her hubby, Errol. In a nutshell, he explained his opposition to his wife’s job…

People like Errol and those in power feel that civil unrest in the Middle East was good for U.S. interests as long as they insert the powers that be in the region. Ultimately influencing the region. But it comes with the cost of terrorist attacks against America. If Kaitlyn and her team dismantle the funding source of terrorism, the fear of the unknown could be worse. He felt the reaction would result in nuclear warfare.

Motivation

Cruz was instructed to miss the flight Aaliyah brought her to Riyadh. The entire team boarded a private jet to Barcelona. The team discussed the logistics of entering and exiting safely. Based on the terrain, it was going to be mission impossible!

While in flight, Joe forced Cruz to watch hours of terrorist attacks Aaliyah’s father was responsible for. It was the motivation for the Marine Joe wanted back…

“Wish The Fight Away”

A web of espionage, romance, and danger unfolds as Joe, Kaitlyn, and Westfield race against time to locate Aaliyah’s wedding venue. Amid luxury shopping sprees and steamy rendezvous in New York, Cruz grapples with her feelings for Aaliyah, whose familial ties to terrorism deepen the mission’s stakes. Cruz’s secret mission with heiress Aaliyah takes unexpected emotional turns. Joe considers a desk job, worried about the mission’s dangers. Personal loyalties clash with duty, revealing the intricate balance between love, power, thwarting terrorists, and the looming specter of nuclear conflict.
