And if that wasn’t enough, he even plays a little hard-to-get with the Celtics’ mastermind, Red Auerbach.
Flash forward to the disco beats of the ’81-’82 season, Earvin lays on the charm, nudging Buss for a promise ring of commitment, all while Coach Westhead rolls the dice on a move that could either have him dancing under the glitter ball or crying in the locker room.
