In the second season, Tommy Egan is on a mission to avenge the death of Liliana, and with the Flynn organization weakened; he’s more determined than ever to take over the Chicago drug world. But with CBI split down the middle, Tommy and Diamond first must maintain their edge over Jenard.

As their factions feud in the streets, Tommy capitalizes on another rivalry between the Serbs and Miguel Garcia, the most formidable drug lord in Chicago.

After setting off a chain reaction of violence in pursuit of his ambition, Tommy must race to stay ahead of the men who are coming for what’s theirs, a federal task force that’s closing ranks, and a sadistic supplier with a direct line to the Cartel.

All the while torn by the promise of a second chance with his blood family, Tommy must decide what he is willing to sacrifice to finally ascend the throne of a kingpin.

Power Book IV: Force Season 2 Speculations

If we had to determine a winner in the “Force” season 1 finale, it would be a tie. The Flynns lost significant support from Dublin. Vic and Claudia distanced themselves from their manipulative father after discovering he wanted Gloria dead, sparking a war with the Serbs.

Diamond and Jenard went their separate ways and planned to divide CBI. Jenard secured an alliance with the Irish Mob and the Serbs, while Diamond acquired a larger piece of the territory.

Now that Kate is in Chicago, she’s likely to cause Tommy the same problems she did in New York. Additionally, JP and D-Mac need to mend their estranged relationship. They’re all likely to be Tommy’s weak points.

Tommy lost Liliana, his loyal partner, and Lauryn, the chemist who created Dahlia. However, he didn’t ultimately care about which drug he sold; his only concern was power and control over all of Chicago.

DEA Agent Blanca Rodriguez learned of the Irish Mob’s activities in Chicago and wanted to investigate but was hindered, at least for now. ADA Jenny Sullivan was also informed about the war in Chicago. The FBI only has a blurry photo of a new player, and we speculate these details will drive the narrative of “Power Book IV: Force” Season 2.

In the second season, Tommy will likely work to unite the divided factions or assemble an army to defeat his opposition. The chaos and violence will attract more federal attention, and eventually, one of the federal agencies will identify their new player as Tommy, who was supposed to be dead.

Season 2 Episode 1 Premiere “Tommy’s Back”

Jenard’s crew seeks revenge as Tommy learns of a rivalry between Miguel and the Serbs that he and Diamond leverage to CBI’s advantage.

Season 2 Episode 3 “War & Ice Cream”

Tommy and Diamond expand their business to prisons, the Feds put together a task force to take down CBI, and Jenard struggles to maintain control.

“Tommy’s clash with CBI and Treasons heats up after a failed hit on him. With the Feds on CBI’s tail, DiFranco scrambles to protect a witness, while Tommy and Diamond hustle to expand their empire into a prison.
