Watch Special Ops: Lioness Episode 6 “The Lie Is the Truth”
On Special Ops: Lioness Episode 5, Joe and Neal deal with the aftermath of Kate’s accident. Westfield and Kaitlyn deploy Joe’s team to subdue a terrorist threat. Cruz’s cover may be in jeopardy.

On Special Ops: Lioness Episode 6, as Cruz returns to The Hamptons to meet with Aaliyah, she learns that the ladies will be pampered with a spa day. Joe advises Cruz to tell Aaliyah the truth about her disappearance (just change the names.)
Wrong House
Joe learns from Kaitlyn that their debriefing moved from Langley to the White House. They were both in shock about who would attend…
Kaitlin‘s husband, Errol, knew who could be in the meeting so they both picked each other’s brains and learned that the Secretary of State would attend. We also learned that a billionaire group was a mole in the conglomerate group.
Meanwhile, Aaliyah wanted to be a matchmaker for Cruz. Finding her the perfect husband. Aaliyah asked Cruz about her bruises and she told her they came from a man but ensured he would never attack her again. They bonded and planned a slumber party.
Nearby, the team held up at a mansion, and someone broke in. It was a trio of adolescent punks who picked the wrong house to case.
A Casualty Of A Situation
Joe and Kaitlyn were called into the meeting at the White House. Westfield was there, and Kyle was asked to join Secretary of State, Edwin Mullins.
The higher-ups questioned Kyle about the sloppy border extraction and kill mission. He massaged the truth to make it seem like a sanctioned mission, but Mullins waded through the BS.
Mullins asked Joe about her version of events, and she confirmed she was there but was coy about the rest. Although the media’s version of the story was heroism at the local and state level, Mullins saw how exposed they were if it were discovered that the CIA was operating kill missions on US soil!
The committee sought a scapegoat if any details of the kill mission surfaced. Westfield clarified the reality of the situation. The terrorists had enough explosives to massacre an arena concert. Their mission saves tens of thousands of lives.
They dismissed Kyle to discuss the Lioness’s main target, Asmar Ali Amrohi. She offers for Cruz to eliminate the target, or they send in a drone strike- sacrificing Cruz in the process.
Since Joe and Cruz couldn’t communicate directly, Joe explained why she would be willing to sacrifice Cruz to eliminate her target—describing it as a casualty of a situation. They knew the date of the strike but not the location. The higher-ups granted Joe authorization for a strike. However, they would command the mission from the Situation Room at the White House. This removed Westfield and Kaitlyn’s authority, something they lost operating on U.S. soil.
Finally Felt Something
Joe received a call from her team about the adolescent break-in. She called Kyle to handle it, using the favor he owed her. Kyle warned a Congressman about a snoopy reporter before heading out…
While on the drive, Joe and Kaitlyn were baffled by how Asmar Ali Amrohi was able to operate without harm, funding any terrorist group he sought.
Kyle arrived at the house to find the trio blindfolded and tied up. He swabbed one for DNA and gave them $10k a piece, leaving them a threat to never return or speak of their break-in, or else they would be killed! Then they cut them loose…
Cruz and Aaliyah enjoyed horror movies followed by love stories. It was Cruz’s first time watching The Notebook, and it did its job of making her cry.
The women discussed Aaliyah’s future. She doesn’t look forward to being in love via an arranged marriage, though she deserves to feel it just once.
Joe returned home, and Neal prepared the living room for Kate’s return. They discussed repairing issues properly moving forward and then made love.
Cruz was awakened by Aaliyah’s screams of excitement. Aaliyah’s mother called with the location of her wedding. It was in Mallorca (Majorca, Spain.) Aaliyah describes it as the most beautiful place. Then kissed Cruz. They paused in shock; Aaliyah kissed Cruz, Cruz kissed her back, and then they backed off. Cruz was shocked that she felt something in their kiss…
